The theme of the 13th EMS Congress 2010 is:
"Regenerative Medicine"
This year, on 8-12 September 2010, the General Assembly of EMSA takes place in the beautiful and historic capital of Greece, where more than 120 participants, medical students from all over geographical Europe will have the chance to have a deeper insight in the internal affairs of EMSA, but as well as make new friends, find out about new projects, exchange views and ideas and create strong bonds with colleagues from other European states. Like every year, at the 20th EMSA GA there will be a joint event for all participants, the 13th European Medical Students' Congress.

EMSA General Assembly (GA)
EMSA GA is the supreme administrative body in EMSA. It takes part annually in September or in October, it lasts five days and two representatives- medical students of the medical universities that are members of EMSA can join.
Analytically during the EMSA GA the following sessions take place:
- Newcomers’ session - The session takes place to inform all new attendees about the structure and the functions of EMSA
- Four Pillars’ Session (Medical Ethics Session, Medical Science, Medical Education, European Integration Session) - These sessions are framed under the four action fields of EMSA. During them a discussion of the running programs of these fields is carried and people exchange opinions for their maximum improvement.
- Skills trainings
- Twinning Project (TP) Market - The twinning project market is a small European “market” in which the representatives of European Medical Schools promote their city and their own Medical School and communicate with other representatives from Medical School in order to organize together a Twinning Project between the two Medical Schools
- Plenary (PRE-GA I, II, GAIa,b, GAII, GA III, GA IV) - The Plenary is the main session of the GA (meeting where every member is attending.
- At the same time, the European Medical Students’ Congress- EMSCon- takes place, which aims at the discussion and enlightenment of the participants on issues about the medical science and the final configuration of the medical students’ resolution on these issues.
